The South-Winds pt. 4

"Omigosh! Omigosh! Omigosh! Omigosh!" Charmy was yelling over and over.




Rocket flipped around the ship as best as she could and pushed the pedal to the metal to get back out, but it seemed that whatever was pulling them back grew stronger.  


Slowly but sure they emerged from the top of the cloud and they all twisted around in their seats to see what was attacking them.  


"Oh, come ON!" Sonic said throwing his hands up in the air.  Behind them was a huge robot with a human figure but resembling a bird more then anything.  It's mass was at least four Tornados put into one, and rockets blowing out of it's back and feet kept it in the sky.  


Where the waist should be was a big glass dome with the controls inside.  


"HO HO HO HO!" they head and Charmy cringed at the stupid laugh, "Well, isn't it nice to see you on this dust ball of a planet!"


Rocket looked closer at the dome and saw that inside was a fat guy in a red suit with goggles on the top of his head. On each of his sides there was a smaller robot, one short and silver the other tall and gold, "I would have never guessed this would be your burial place!"  He continued.


"Puhleaze." Sonic said, "Don't make me laugh, I might inhale some of the sand outside."



"Sonic... who is that?" Trix said quietly as she stared at the huge robot looming over their ship.  


"That, ladies and gentlemen, is Dr. Eggman.  And don't bother clapping." Sonic said.


"And I suppose that you deserve any better then an applause? Don't make ME laugh, Sonic. Capturing you was just simply to easy. After I have my fun," he said and brought a metal fist into the back of the ship causing the engines to bust, "I'll rid of you once and for all! HO HO HO HO!"


"Y'know, you might want to consider fixing up your dialogue. It's kinda lame." Rocket said, and the other three burst into laughter.  


Eggman's face got red and he yelled, "Will you all stop making fun of my come backs!"


"Seriously, you're boring to listen to.  Actually kinda painful to listen to you yap on and on." Rocket continued, and the chorus of laughter continued.


Decoe and Bocoe started to panic from inside the huge robot as their master's fists clenched and a deep growl surged up from inside him.  


"I'll be happy once all of you are gone, and trust me when I say I won't hesitate to rid of you! And once I'm finished with you I'll get rid of your pest friends!"


"Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold up," Rocket said, "I didn't mean to get all up in your grill or whatever.  Sorry I made you so mad."


"...Your kidding right?"


"No! Of course I'm not! Nobody really deserves to be treated like that."


"What on Mobius are you doing?!" Sonic asked in a harsh whisper.


"Just go with it, you gotta trust me!" Rocket whispered back.  Then turned her attention back to the Dr. "I mean really, all you want is some world or even galactic domination!  Is that to much to ask for?"


"Hmph, finally someone who actually sees me eye to eye!" The Dr. said, obviously falling for it.


"Of course! These guys just don't understand a villains plans mean more to them then anything else."


"To true!" Eggman said, "I admire your admiration!"

Sonic, Charmy, and Trix were truly baffled for a moment until they saw what Rocket had seen and understood.



"Y'know, I've actually been thinkin', and I'm happy you didn't pay us back for that one job we did ya*. It was a privilege of saving YOUR life." Charmy said, trying not to throw any sarcasm into his voice.


*Sonic Heroes: The Chaotix took a job from Eggman that he never paid them back for.*


"Well, I never thought I'd hear that." Eggman admitted.  


"And, your robots are so amazing. They're all really scary." Trix piped up, her voice still small.


"Thank you child! I just might spare your life!" Eggman said, truly thrilled at the attention he was receiving.  


After that statement a huge pirate ship from above Eggman's robot sent canons onto the huge metal bird, and the engines from it's back gave away and the clamp released the BP plane.  


Rocket's plan had worked out just fine, she had seen the ship and hoped it would be friendly to them.  Except for the one problem that they were now falling to the planet bellow.


Charmy's shrill cries made Trix cover her ears.  Sonic leaned over Rocket's chair and yelled to her, "Smooth! Now what're we going to do?!"


"I'm working on it!" Rocket yelled back.  


Thankfully, none of the panic had to last much longer when the pirate ship sent out a claw of it's own and caught the falling ship.  


"Whew," Rocket said leaning back in her seat, then said to Sonic, "I told you I had everything under control."


The claw slowly and almost gently brought their ship up to it's deck.  They saw Eggman's robot flying away in the distance and turned their attention to the large pirate ship.  They were dropped onto the deck and they all climbed out, only to have sharp swords pointed into their faces.
